                                      2007/08 SEASON
                               TONMAWR TOURNAMENT

In there very first outing as a contact team bryn showed big heart from the outset against a good pencoed team who were a very big team dwarfing bryn a lot however this did not deter our team from making great strides in defence showing alot of courage tackling some very large boys but going down 0-3 was no shame.
From then on bryn became far more organised and the forwards started to play as a pack and the backs were making breaks and passing very well and dispite a ref who had left his glasses at home new player Carwen scored his first try in only his first outing in a rugby match and was swamped by all the players who were very happy for him but went down 2-1 thanks to a silly ref but a much improved performance
After a good game against a excellent Bridgend team it was Bonymaen . By now Bryn had got to grips with this form of the game and stormed to a 5-1 win , this seamed to be the shape of things to come for the rest of the season ,
A special mention about Carwyn who on his first games showed plenty of courage and with time has all the attributes to be a good member of the team. And let us not forget we were missing four good players in Josh E, ben L , jake the peg
 and james
