                                       BRYN V TONNA

On a great day for rugby Bryn turned up with just the 8 players as the other guys were lucky enough to go to the opspreys game and some were playing sillyball at the millenium stadium which was a great honor so well done to Josh and callum for that.

Anyway back to the Tonna game where the team were in confident mood in the first half the team were prehaps a bit over confident which was down to the past results against Tonna Scott Ireland and Rhys Calldwell both started brightly by scoring great tries both but both were bringing others into play very well and so it went for the first half with Ben Miller ,jake the peg and sam coming into the game more and more and Aaron ,James and Rhodri  all defending very well..

The second half was a great team performance starting with a fantastic run by Sam Freeman who ran the lenth of the pitch but was held back by his shirt to stop him scoring a great try but excellent vision allowed him to give a great offload to allow Scott in to score..Scott and Rhys had by this time decided they would play a passing game ..they both looked for space and offloaded to the rest of the team to show what they can do ,and they did just that whith Aaron(who was later named man of the match) and Rhodri making good runs with Aaron crossing the try line but passing to jake the peg to score his first of two .Then it was James's time to score and a good line break by scott Ireland gave a good pass to James who made a great finish for his first try of many im sure for Bryn , Jake made a second score for himself

after a great line break and sprint for the line , another player who is improving all the time and is becoming a very good player Rhodri also chipped in with a great score, a player we are looking forward to seeing in the contact side of the sport next year, a special mention for ben miller Sam and Aaron who may not have scored but had a big say in the outcome of the game well done guys who put themselves about and were very busy  all day in hot weather

and also scott and rhys who were so unselfish in the second half and created so many try scoring chances

So well done Bryn great passing running and defending ,when Bryn play now they play with so much confidence and skill and we are all looking forward to next season when we can see the team step up yet again.......so well done BRYN!!!!!
